ADOPTION AGREEMENT
Agreement Terms Between Sipina Mini Dachshunds (Seller) and the Buyer
A copy of this agreement will be sent via text and email along with an invoice before the deposit is made.
Payment: The Buyer agrees to pay the Seller the total amount for the puppy. A refundable deposit is required to reserve and prepare the puppy papers and puppy needs before leaving. The remaining balance is due before picking up the puppy. Deposits can be made via Zelle, Apple Pay, Venmo, Chime (plus a 1.5% fee). Deposit is required on all puppies before leaving on agreed pickup date.
All sales are final.
Deposits: Deposits count towards the final price. They are refundable but can be transferred to a different litter (one transfer per deposit). Deposits are refundable if something happens to the puppy while in our care. The deposit reserves the puppy for 7 days unless otherwise arranged. If not picked up in that time, the deposit can be transferred to a future litter.
Sipina Mini Dachshunds can refuse a deposit if it’s deemed necessary.
Pickup: Once the puppies are ready, the Seller and Buyer will agree on a pickup time. Due to Covid-19, in-home visits are not allowed; pickups will be at a mutual location. Weekly photos and videos will be shared on social media.
Local pickup only; we do ship puppies!
Size and Traits: The Buyer understands that we do guarantee the size, personality, or other traits of the puppy. Our puppies are “Mini Doxies,” meaning they will be between mini , expected to weigh around 6-9 lbs as adults.
Breeders: The Buyer knows that Sipina Mini Dachshunds works with a network of breeders, and not all puppies are bred by us.
Health Guarantee: All puppies come with a 2-year health guarantee. The Buyer must take the puppy to a vet within 72 hours for a health check to qualify. We are not responsible for vet bills after the puppy leaves our care. If a life-threatening condition is verified by two vets, the puppy can be returned for one of equal value.
Returning Puppies: If the Buyer can no longer care for the puppy, it can be returned, but no refund will be given.
Agreement Acceptance: By purchasing the puppy, the Buyer agrees to this entire adoption agreement.
Final Sale: All sales are final; no refunds after purchase.
